Mike Darnell

Michael H. Darnell (born 18 May 1962) is an American television executive.

Darnell was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is currently president of Alternative Entertainment for the Fox Broadcasting Company. He is credited for launching When Animals Attack!, Temptation Island, Joe Millionaire, American Idol, and the cancelled special O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened.

He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge.
