Mikael Simpson (b. 1974) is a Danish songwriter, singer, and musician. He began his musical career as a guitarist for the indie band Luksus, which disbanded in 2001. Since then, he has released four albums as a solo artist, earning him relative popularity and radio airplay in Denmark. He has performed live with Trentemøller on several occasions, as well as having contributed lyrics to some of his songs.
