Mika Ääritalo (born July 25, 1985 in Turku, Finland) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for TPS Turku.

Aston Villa beat a host of clubs from across Europe to the signing of Ääritalo in July 2003, who was regarded as a promising player at the club. Despite an impressive goalscoring record for Youth teams and Aston Villa Reserves, Ääritalo failed to settle and rejoined hometown club TPS Turku in February 2005. He was elected as a rookie of the year in 2006. And he was one of the best player for his team TPS Turku in 2007 when TPS Turku returned as medalist after 11 years dry season. Ääritalo scored 8 goals with 6 assists in 26 appearances. Ääritalo was selected in the Finnish national squad by Roy Hodgson in August 2007.

Ääritalo also has U16, U18 and U19 caps for Finland.
