Please be more careful with tagging articles for deletion. One of your latest targets was a prominent politician and current member of the House of Representatives. Another was a veteran cabinet minister during the 1980s. Another stupid tagging along these lines and I'm going to block you for disruption. Rebecca 06:06, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
- This is ridiculous. {{prod}} is meant for relatively undisputed deletions of utter crud. You've nominated a host of undisputably nominated people who would most probably survive an AfD vote unanimously. I'm blocking you for 24 hours - continue and you'll be blocked for a week. Rebecca 06:12, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- To my knowledge, the tag itself does not delete the article per se. Those articles read as nothing more than fan pages or "about me" personal articles, therefore I tagged them. I am not deleting or vandalising them, just putting a tag so that they can be improved by other users who watch those pages. Mighty Ozymandias 06:33, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- Many of the articles you tagged were perfectly standard, reasonably-written biographies about indisputably notable people. They included prominent politicians and prominent sportspeople who would without question, most probably unanimously (and quite possibly speedily), survive an AfD vote.

-
- There is absolutely no excuse for {{prod}}ing these articles in the circumstances; I had to go through your contributions and revert about 90% of your taggings because they were simply wrong. The cleanup tags are meant to be used only where there are serious problems; in a few cases, you got that right, and I left those tags there, but in all too many, there simply wasn't much wrong with the articles at all.

-
- If you're going to {{prod}} articles, please make sure that the deletion is reasonably likely to be undisputed. If you're going to tag articles for cleanup, please make sure that the article actually is in serious need of cleanup.

- If you're willing to be more careful in future, I'll happily unblock you now and put this aside as a newbie mistake, but please be aware that any more crap of this sort will lead to another, substantially longer block. You created a royal mess that was quite a nuisance to fix up. Rebecca 06:46, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- I cant access the wiki from work and I need sleep, so its better that to let the block expire (cant stay awake anymore). I felt I made a good call on my edits, and from your comments it seems you think that I had it in for these people. Nevertheless, lets call it a night.Mighty Ozymandias 07:18, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

- I'm not saying that you had it in for these people - I'm saying that your taggings were careless and unjustifable to the point of being disruptive. Feel free to wait out this block, but if you resume the same behaviour upon your return, expect to be blocked for a longer period of time. Rebecca 07:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
