Miguel Ángel Romero (born May 2, 1975 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer, who currently plays for Chilean club Audax Italiano. Even though he was born in Argentina he has never played in Argentina's First Division. He began with Argentino de Rosario of the third division and then moved Club Atlético Tigre of the second division. He left Argentina in 1999 for Chile and has not returned since. He has played for several teams in Chile, which include Cobreloa, Everton, Unión San Felipe, Colo-Colo, and Coquimbo Unido. In 2006 he moved to Audax Italiano where he has been a vital piece of the team which has played in both the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
