Image talk:MiG-29 wreck.jpg

This photo would appear to be a MiG-23, not a MiG-29 or Mirage F.1. Note the single, central vertical stabiliser (MiG-29 has two) and the relatively narrow fuselage, features of the single engined MiG-23. The twin engined MiG-29 has to widely spaced engines that have a significant gap in between. The wings also have visible swivel points common on swing-wing aircraft. The IRST eyeball mount in front of the cockpit windsheild and the distinctive AA-10 Alamo missile under the left wing root also indicate that this is not a French Mirage F.1. 203.39.8.229 02:20, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
