Five different designators can be used here to indicate a particular situation about the intersection:
- noaccess if the roads cross, but there is no direct access between the two
- concur use this when a concurrency begins and ends
- decomd if an intersection, or portion thereof, has been decommissioned
- unbuilt if an intersection, or portion thereof, is unbuilt. Mainly used for planned/future junctions
- closed if an intersection is closed indefinitely (not for temporary or construction related closures)
|
| street |
The name of the street, if it has one besides its main designator. For example, M-102 in Michigan is also known as 8 Mile Road. |
| notes |
- Any notes related to the particular intersection, or if it's a terminus.
- Also include control cities for interstate and U.S. Route junctions here.
- To generate wiki markup indicating I-94 West to Ann Arbor use {{subst:MIint/INW|Ann Arbor}} This will create:
Ann Arbor indicating that I-94 heading west goes to Ann Arbor. To create similar control city designations using this template follow these rules: INN, INE, INS, INW create indicators for North, East, South and West, respectively.

- {{subst:MIint/INN|Flint}} produces:
