[edit] Passing loops

The article contains the sentence:

By 1865 and additional team of horses and wagons had been brought into use and passing places constructed to raise the annual tonnage to 22,000 tons.

but according to The Railways of Purbeck (3rd ed, page 41, as cited in article) the passing loops were already marked on a map of 1811. I suppose technically by 1865 could encompass by 1811 but a mismatch of 54 years is just a bit imprecise. Is there a citation for the by 1865 date that might help in clarifying this?. -- Chris j wood 17:36, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Discovered a citation and added it, but that still leaves us with an inconsistency. A third source to arbitrate would be great. -- Chris j wood 10:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
