Midland International Records
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Midland International Records (later Midsong International Records) was a US record label that existed in the 1970s. Releases on the label were manufactured and distributed by RCA Records. Doctor's Orders by Carol Douglas, Fly, Robin, Fly and Get Up And Boogie by Silver Convention, and Let Her In by John Travolta were among the few major national successes the label released during its short existence. In 1977, legal action by Midland Radio which markets electronics using the Midland International name forced the record label to change its name to Midsong International. It has been defunct since around 1980. Henry Stone's Hot Productions manages the Midland/Midsong International catalog today.
