Middle Forge Junction

Middle Forge Junction is an important junction on the Dean Forest Railway.
It is where the Lydney to Parkend (High Level) and Lydney to Norchard (Low Level) lines meet.
Middle Forge is 1 of 3 Forges in the forest. There is one near Tufts Junction and anther past Lydney Junction. MF is 450 yards (410 m) away from Norchard. The first train of the day (on 1 train only operating days) to Parkend, stops here to change the points for High Level and the last train back to Norchard stops and sets the points for Low Level.
