The Middle Arm Bridge is a bridge currently under construction in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It will span the middle arm of the Fraser River, linking Lulu Island with the Vancouver International Airport on Sea Island. It will be used by the airport branch of the Canada Line, scheduled to open in 2009.
The bridge is a box girder prestressed concrete bridge, and is built using cost-efficient cantilever construction. It is designed to have very little impact on the surrounding environment. The integrated arch form will appear minimal, while adequately supporting the weight of the trains that cross it.
