Jump to: navigation, search Michael Charles Kerr: (1966 - ) Canadian New Media Artist and Entrepreneur Born in Winnipeg Canada, Michael Kerr studied Commercial Art, Art history, Computer Programming and Graphic Design at the Center for Digital Imaging in Burnaby BC and later settled in Montreal Canada. Coming out of the Peace River Region oil and gas drilling boom in 2006 Michael Kerr started the Wide Eye Agency, a commercial advertising agency based in Montreal Canada. Wide Eye Agency works with national as well as international clients who are attempting to cross cultural business boundaries to work globally. Michael is working artistically as a New Media Artist. Working internationally as well as locally Michael creates conceptual works of art that express the value of equality within the global human cultural experience while expressing the chaotic and destructive deviation created where there is a kinetic extension of inequality within those same global cultures. This art is an attempt to explore the question of the value of the individual as an autonomous entity not only in the western world but globally through conditional constructs.
