[edit] Proposing merge
Based on a question at Talk:Basal body, I think that some of the individual MTOC pages could be merged here, especially those that are nothing more but stubs. Any objections? - tameeria 19:18, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
I agree they should be merged into one. Can be helpful for others to track the MTOC better if they are all together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mohammadq (talk • contribs) 21:10, 22 May 2007
They are to different topics each should have its own page. Merging would degrade the quality of each page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.37.31.38 (talk • contribs) 02:05, 4 June 2007
Ya i agree with guy number three merging is hella lame, total ass turkey. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.37.31.38 (talk • contribs) 02:07, 4 June 2007
I think that these topics are very different. I agree with No. 3--Johndheathcote 17:49, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
My opinion is that it shouldn't be merged, a basal body as structural unit of the flagellum is worth a seperate entry. Just someone add basal body to the MTOC page. - fou-rire (got no english wikipedia account) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.58.109.243 (talk • contribs) 18:51, 13 June 2007
I say don't merge: Basal bodies and centrosome are entirely different. If I were searching for these topics I would not use the search term microtubule organising centre. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.45.179 (talk • contribs) 13:46, 21 June 2007
