[edit] Discussion

I have not read anywhere of Mick Hucknall being from a Jewish background (as was previously stated on this article ). His father, Reg, hailed from Barrow in Furness ( My Dad used to work with him ), whilst Mick's mother was of Irish extraction. He is almost certainly not of Jewish extraction.

  • It is not that unlikely to be of Irish and Jewish descent, is it? Dreadlady 14:34, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ladies' man

Mick Hucknall is known as quite a ladies' man. Would it be worth mentioning it somewhere in the article? Rogwan 07:00, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I wouldn't quote it like that, but listing his relationships may get the point across. Whatever the addition, it must be verifiable. He's supposedly known for having a very large endowment, but that would be a challenge to cite. NickBurns 05:35, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

He has not died, it's just vandalism. 20/11/06

I can find no reference ANYWHERE on the web to Mick Hucknall's death. Today is 20 November and Wiki has his death listed as 1am (GMT) on 18 November 2006. His official fan forum is chatting as usual, his official web site carries no news of his death, and the BBC is completely silent on the matter.(I am in the UK.) Is this some sicko's idea of a joke?????? It isn't funny; and the reputation of Wikipedia is at stake here. Someone, in authority, needs to look at this urgently. I can find no reference to him being related to Dawn French either. Vandalism? DannyIndigo 12:29, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
