  • Something must have dramatically happened to Michigan District 1 in the early 90's. John Conyers has always represented the southeastern part of Michigan, namely Detroit. I've search and there seems to have been a redistricting based on the 90's census. However, I can't find any solid information. If I do, I'll be sure to make note in the article, since such a major change is noteworthy. --AugieWest 19:38 March 20, 2006 UTC
