[edit] My name is michaela
My name is michaela and im from the uk. I find it so hard to get little things like cups, pens etc... with my name on it. It is so annoying. The name isnt that popular in the uk but i wish it was. i was shocked to see how many different variations there is of the name and where the name was originated from. Although i dont reffer myself like God lol :)
No kidding. Here in the US it's also very hard. When I find something woth my name on it, I beg mom to buy it for me."OH Okay, since nothing has your name on it" my mom says. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.170.238.74 (talk) 14:07, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Michaela
My Name Where are our names coming from? Are our names closely linked with our personalities? Our parents could have particular reasons for giving us our names and I would say that it wasn’t easy to choose the right name certainly. Name Michaela Milatova was given to me when I was born. I didn’t ask my parents about the meaning of my name but when I was looking for a deeper explanation of it, I found out that it is a feminine form of Michael, which means "who is like God?.” Its Hebrew root is consisting of the letters Mem, Yud, Chaf, Aleph, Lamed, and He. Despite this interesting and ancient meaning, I am sure that my first name wasn’t given to me because of religion, but most likely because of the beautiful tone you can hear while it’s being pronounced. I have realized this fact after people around have told me about it. According to our culture, everyone has only two names, first one and last one which is always associated with father’s last name, but it has been recently decided to keep female last names in some new-generation-families. The basic root of my last name is coming from the Czech word – loving, and suits Michaela perfect. Besides, I love my initials “MM” as well for their famous meaning. Who wouldn’t want to have the same initials like for example Marilyn Monroe? As a result of all provided details and my positive opinion about close connection between our name and personality, let me put my feelings about myself in the end – open to life, loving, strong, a full of energy and determined person – yeah, that’s me! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.169.42 (talk) 22:08, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
