[edit] CIA?
Just to note, CIA archives tell Townley never worked for the CIA. And to have to quote Contreras on this, is rather one-sided. Contreras is trying to cover his own back (Contreras wanted Townley and his associates to assassinate Carlos Altamirano, but they would have none of that, instead they went for Bernardo Leighton). All of this was DINA work though. Intangible2.0 09:48, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- A reference in the article [1] says Townley implicated Pinochet for the Prats and Letelier murder during his trial. This reference seems to be a blog posting from a workers' association. Blogs are not WP:RS. Intangible2.0 15:19, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've put a POV tag to the whole article. What Contreras says should be used with extreme caution, yet it is dispersed troughout the article. Intangible2.0 02:04, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- These statements should be NPOV in the current form. His statements should now be presented as his opinion rather than fact. If you know of better sources, I suggest you add them. Antonrojo 15:52, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

You act as if CIA archives are total, far from. Vast amounts of material remain classified and vast more amounts of material was most likely destroyed or not kept in official records. I dont see this as one sided at all. You have to put this into the context with the history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.38.227.23 (talk) 15:08, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
