As the subject of this biography, I feel I ought to have some input here :-) I know this may be walking into a minefield with respect to the Ukrainian-vs-Rusyn controversy, but I consider myself to be Ukrainian-American. This is based on the affinities I see between my parent's culture and what is typically considered "Ukrainian". My parent's village was more in the Carpathian foothills, and they considered themselves in some ways distinct from "hirnyaky" ("mountain folks"). So, as is typical for that part of the world, it's all a big jumbled mess :-) I have also taken the liberty of making a few other corrections, changes, etc. I'm trying to change the "Ukraine-bio-stub" to the "US" equivalent, but I'm not sure how to do that... --Mike --comrevgrd (talk) 21:39, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
