Microsoft Dynamics is a line of business software made by Microsoft. It was previously known by the codename of Project Green. It replaces the previous family of Microsoft Business Solutions.

[edit] Issues with service packs

The public release of Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to both the Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update was delayed due to a compatibility issue between it and the Microsoft Retail Management System. The already released Windows Vista Service Pack 1 also contained this issue and its release through Windows Update was halted as well.[1][2] Microsoft promised a fix but gave no estimate on its completion; until that time Microsoft RMS users were recommended not to install the service packs until a hotfix was available.[3][4][5]
