Michton is the largest chocolate factory in Wales. The company was set up in 1991 by Michelle and Tony Wadley. The name came from the joining of the two founders' first names. Initially the company was set up in Enfield, Middlesex, and then in 1998 the company relocated to its current location in Swansea, south Wales.
In 2003, Michton opened to the public. The factory tour is now one of the leading tourist attraction in Wales. The company has possibly the largest chocolate shop in Europe.
