Michele Civetta a filmmaker and mullti-media artist. Mr. Civetta has directed videos for Lou Reed, Sparklehorse, Yoko Ono. Commercials for Coca-Cola, Martini & Rossi, Cingular wireless, Badoit mineral water. In 2006 Civetta wrote and directed an ambitious and critically acclaimed musical feature for Sean Lennon's Capitol Records release Friendly Fire. The 50-minute film debuted January 2008 on Mark Cuban's HDNet channel.

Civetta is currently in pre-production on a film based on the international bestseller Coin Locker Babies that is scheduled to shoot in the summer of 2008 in Thailand and Japan. The film is a co-production between Don Murphy's Angry Films (Natural Born Killers, Bully, From Hell, Transformers) and the French Studio Wild Bunch (City of God, Irreversible, March of the Penguins, Che) and stars Val Kilmer, Asia Argento, Brady Corbett, Jamie Cambell Bower, Devon Aoki and Tadanobu Asano. Mr. Civetta is also preparing a film with Alain Guede based on the life of the Chevalier de Saint George.

Michele Civetta plans to marry Italian actress/ director Asia Argento in the Summer of 2008. The couple live in Rome with Anna Lou, Asia's daughter & are expecting a baby in the fall of 2008.
