Michal Kadlec (born 13 December 1984 in Vyškov, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech football player currently playing for AC Sparta Praha where he plays at left back. His father Miroslav was a former Czechoslovakia footballer who played 8 years in the Bundesliga in Germany, due to which Michal spent his childhood there.
Kadlec started his professional career in 1. FC Slovácko and made his debut in a match against Baník Ostrava. In 2005 he joined Sparta Prague.
On November 17, 2007, Kadlec was called up to the Czech Republic national football team for a game against Slovakia, and made his debut in a 3-1 victory (scoring an own goal). He also scored in the win over Scotland on May 30, 2008 (also 3-1).
