As part of the great hard rock migration to Los Angeles in the mid-'80s, Michael White (born Michael Whitehead on December 30, 1962) was a bassist in numerous bands (including Panther, featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, Arsynyl which featured vocalist Ron Keel (band), and Diamond Dogs which featured vocalist Lizzy Borden) before joining Mojo Rib in 2003.
His musical style has been compared by music journalists[citation needed] to that of Cheap Trick’s Tom Petersson and Aerosmith's Tom Hamilton. White's first appearance on a Mojo Rib album was 2007’s In For Sin (Album) on the Nuthing Sacred label. He currently lives in New York City.
