Michael Simpkins (politician)

Michael Simpkins is the prospective British National Party candidate for the new UK Parliamentary Constituency of Chippenham. In 2007, he was elected unopposed as councillor for the Rudloe ward on Corsham Town Council.[1][2]
The new Chippenham constituency is made from parts of the current Devizes, North Wiltshire and South West Wiltshire Constituencies, and includes the towns of Bradford-on-Avon, Chippenham, Corsham and Melksham.
The British National Party has a strong support base in the Chippenham area.[citation needed]
