Michael McGinlay (born in Bolton, December 10, 1987) is a professional footballer currently playing for Bohemians in the League of Ireland. He is the son of Bolton Wanderers legend John McGinlay.

McGinlay began his career at Manchester City but never made the breakthrough so he moved to America where he signed for the Cincinnati Kings. He scored 9 times in 33 appearances for the club in his first season.
A winger or striker, he signed for Bohs in July 2007 and scored his first goal for the club on October 19 in a 2-1 win over Derry City.
