Michael Cofer (born April 7, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is a former American Football linebacker who played for the Detroit Lions in a ten year career that lasted from 1983 to 1992 in the National Football League.
Cofer played college football at University of Tennessee and was drafted in the third round of the 1983 NFL Draft by the Lions. He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1988 season.
