Mineral-insulated cables. Each copper-sheathed cable carries three phase power in a 480 V circuit. Mineral-insulated cables are attached to the panelboard with special fittings. Behind the cables a bare stranded copper bonding conductor can be seen, which bonds electrical equipment to earth ground. Taken June 2001,E.B.
