About mian channu its not enough govt.model high school has been the best school of not only mian channu but of the whole district.in the year 2006 it showed a histry conducting result which made it proud bcoz of its students.i m also the position holder student of this school. after all it had the minister of punjab but it is a great city far away from frauds.it has the flood light stadium with vast capacity.popular rods are gt road,tulamba road and shaheed road.
