[edit] "Mary Sue"?

I have heard recently that Yuu Watase "admitted Miaka is a 'Mary Sue'". Which leads me to the following questions:

1.)Where did this information (or rumor, as the case may be) originate?

2.)Did she honestly say such a thing? If so, what was the exact context and content of this statement? Was it merely "Yes, Miaka is definitely a wish-fulfillment..." or "Miaka is basically me..."?

3.)Did she actually honestly use the term Mary Sue? I mean don't get me wrong, I realize it's used in several foreign languages now (such as Spanish), but I'm not aware of this usage being in Japanese as well. Also, in what context did she use it, if she did use this or a similar term? Idealized wish-fulfillment or self-insertion? Because there's a big difference between the two...

4.) If any of the above is true, how on Earth is it not addressed or referenced in the article either here or at Fushigi Yuugi?
