"The mission of Miami Killian Senior High School is to prepare students to reach their optimum potential in an ever-changing, highly technical, global world. To accomplish this mission, we will provide students with a clean and safe learning environment, a challenging and diverse curriculum, superior classroom instruction, a full range of positive support services, and a variety of athletic and other curricular activities." --Ricardo Rodríguez

  • Miami Killian offers over 20 different AP (Advanced Placement) courses, which can be taken for college credit if a student passes the culminating exam at the end of the year. +
  • Miami Killian's "We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution" team has won the state competition in 2005, 2007, and 2008 and will attend the National Competition in 2008 for the second time (The first was in 2007).
