The Miami is a fun-fair ride, primarily found in the United Kingdom. All Miami's have different names, ranging from Charlie Appleton's "High Energy" to Billy Crow Jnr's "Exposure".
[edit] Design and operation
The Miami's seating arrangement consists of a row of around 18 seats, facing outwards, which spin in a circular motion on two gondolas. The ride often pauses at the it's highest point for around two to three seconds, before spinning in the oposite direction to which it came. This is intended to give the riders the feeling that the tired has stopped, or malfunctioned.w
The height restriction on Miami's is normally around one metre, although it is not uncommon to find height limits higher than this. When transported, the Miami folds up onto one trailer, so that to be built up, it simply unfolds.
