- Hi Meyman, gramatically dibêjim in Sorani is correct and they only change di to de (> debêjim); but in speech they either use the short form of this word such as êjim or use delêm/elêm, the latter also often used in written Sorani. But virtually All sorani-speaking Kurds understand dibêjim. Asoyrun 13:46, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Earth
English earth goes back to the Proto-Indo-European root *er- meaning earth ground. The Arabic word is 'arḍ and it has its cognates in other Semitic languages. It is a coincidence that the words are similar in Germanic and Semitic. Azalea pomp 04:45, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Avestan sweeten
I found that Avesten "sweeten" is xʷāsta which also means "cooked". Azalea pomp (talk) 06:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Etymologies
I wish I could find etymologies for those words, but I haven't had any luck. :/ Azalea pomp (talk) 06:09, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
