Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa is the President of Mexico. He assumed office on December 1, 2006, and was elected for one six-year term that will end in 2012 without the possibility of re-election. He is affiliated with the National Action Party (Mexico) (PAN), a mostly conservative organization with a tendency toward more liberal economic ideas. His official residence is Los Pinos.
