The Mexican Woodnymph, Dryade Du Mexique, Nifa Mexicana, or Zafiro Mexicano (Thalurania ridgwayi) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found only in Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
