- The next station URL can be modified by the VICORMELB parameter. Add Melbourne if it is a Melbourne station (eg (all connex either side) otherwise leave blank if not (eg: Connex terminus, V/Line continues on, next station is XXX railway station, Victoria)
- Append plain to any of the various 'next' or 'previous' station parameters, and you bypass the automatic station naming, and pass the template plain wikitext instead.
- This can also be a Connex / suburban only template - just leave out VLine and VLine2 parameters, and all the regional stuff gets left out. Goo if you need to enter custom wikitext.
- Leave Next1 blank for Connex termini where VLP continues.
