[edit] Signs

re: There are still a few street names signs with "Borough of St Pancras" on them.

Some of the signs around Charlotte Street are not original. They were replaced recently with new signs but with the old borough of St. Pancras text on instead of LB Camden. I guess as the old signs had survived from pre1965-c2000 they thought they should replace them with the same text (a rare sensitive act of a local authority usually hell-bent on branding every piece of street furniture and sign). I can think of examples of the original street signs surviving in every borough. Perhaps this will be good photo opportunity for each met boro page? MRSC 11:55, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
