[edit] Major Routes section

Now that I've created Metro Transit Routes, do we still need this section? I've also moved the information in that section to the respective routes themselves. Thanks, zappa.jake (talk) 06:52, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Abbreviation?

I found this sentence in the article:

"Since about 1993, Metro Transit buses have been allowed to use road shoulders to byp jams."

Since I didn't feel that abbreviations had a place in this article, and the link "jams" didn't link to anything having to do with transit, I changed "byp" to "bypass" and "jams" to "traffic jams." Was this okay? RalphRedFox 03:01, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Very bus-oriented

This whole article seems very bus-oriented, barely mentioning the light-rail portion of the system. But that is the growing part of the system, while the bus routes are declining (both in frequency and ridership).

I looked for a section on ridership, where I wanted to add something to say that the 1 light-rail line carries 1/7th of the passengers on the whole system, but I didn't see any appropriate place. The only place riders are mentioned is in the leading paragraph, and I didn't feel it belonged there. Should we have a paragraph about ridership somewhere in this article? 207.191.150.119 08:54, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Source

Can someone validate the #riders and fleet numbers, they look way too high. dml 23:16, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
