Firstly I must apologise that I did not do this the day I created the MIRCERA article, I have never used Wikipedia before as an editor and am still trying to understand how it works so please bear with me.

I would like to explain my reasons for creating the MIRCERA article, this is a new treatment for anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the Web is such an important place when researching and understanding health information. I use the Web myself for finding health information.

I thought it would be useful for the Wikipedia visitors to benefit from this content as there is already detailed information on the disease state and other treatments available on Wikipedia.

I created this article to open the discussion with the Wikipedia community; at no point did I intend to make this content promotional or biased in anyway. I have tried to make sure that the content I created was as factual as possible.

I support Wikipedia's desire to maintain its credibility by continuing to be a neutral, verifiable encyclopedia . It is now totally up to the Wikipedia community to decide whether to keep, delete or develop it.
