Metro Ermita
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Metro Ermita is a station on Line 2 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the Benito Juárez borough of Mexico City, directly south of the city centre on Calzada de Tlalpan. It is a surface station.
The station logo depicts a chapel: the Spanish word ermita means a small chapel constructed outside a church. The name of this station refers to San Cosme ermita, constructed in 1526.
Metro Ermita provides a transfer with trolleybus Line "E", which runs between Santa Cruz Meyehualco sports venues and Avenida de los Insurgentes, one of the city's main north-to-south avenues.
According to the official website, Metro Ermita will become a transfer station after Line 12 has finished construction.
