METROAguascalientes Radio is an Internet-based radio station, wich streams its signal since 2005 in the website [www.metroaguascalientes.com], first as a podcast service and later as a 24 hours radio service.
The change of its format become after their members, Jose Antonio Zapata Cabral, Gerardo Pasillas Esparza and Francisco Javier GarcĂa Zapata were dissmised from Grupo ACIR AM station, after strong pressures from Aguascalientes state government, because they were the only jounalist who criticized the local government.
After being dismissed without justification, the journalist decided to change the podcast format from METROAguascalientes.com and create an Internet radio station, with a Talk and News format.
