Metin Aktaş (born August 1, 1977 in Akçaabat, Turkey) is a Turkish football player. He currently plays goalkeeper for Giresunspor in the Bank Asya 1. Lig.

Metin has been a part of national football in Turkey since 1994. His first cap with Turkey came in an U-17 match against Albania on August 4, 1994, 3 days after his seventeenth birthday.[1] His first cap for the senior team came on February 23, 2000 in a friendly match against Norway. Metin came on as a sub for Fevzi Tuncay in the 89th minute.[1]
