Metamorphosis Women's Empowerment Conference is an annual empowerment conference held in Houston,Texas hosted by Co-Pastor Mia K. Wright of The Fountain of Praise. The conference is hosted each year with prominent speakers, musical artist, and lifestyle sessions.

Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Conference is the largest lifestyle conference for women in the Southwest United States.[1] The site location for the conference is in Houston, Texas. The conference is trademarked “Metamorphosis” to symbolize the mental and spiritual transformation that takes place. Founded in 2000 by Executive Director Mia K. Wright the conference was designed to help women develop better lifestyle strategies for improvements in their lives. It started seven years ago as retreat for 200 women has evolved into an after-work revival conference now provides over 10,000 women with thought provoking sessions and workshops on topics that affect their everyday lives.

Other elements of the conference include, The Compassion Philanthropic Project and international satellite mission conferences in Africa, Brazil, and upcoming in India.

It is the belief of Metamorphosis that a woman can go from ordinary to extraordinary by impacting her mind, body, and soul with a strong emphasis on her spiritual growth. Held every year the first week in March, the conference itinerary includes star studded concerts, powerful speakers, help sessions, workshops on finance management, health and fitness, fashion and beauty, and of course, inspirational and spiritual opportunities. Past years’ inspirational speakers have included Juanita Bynum and Paula White.

Metamorphosis will be held at a new location in 2008, The George R Brown Convention Center in the heart of Downtown Houston, Texas. Metamorphosis expects over 10,000 women in March traveling from all across the nation in search of mind renewal and the rejuvenation of their spirit. The conference will get a boost with an additional empowerment aspect aimed at diversifying the conference’s message. With the addition of Metamorphosis2 to the conference’s lineup, over 400 teen girls ages 10-17 will also experience a transformative experiences with sessions addressing issues within their community.
