Some questions:

• Are the microwave links analog or digital?
• Will the optical fibre links be analog or digital?
• Is the correlator analog, or digital or a hybrid of both?

Some answers:

• The microwave links are currently analog. They used to be digital but they were put back to analog to increase the bandwidth.
• The optical fibre links are digital
• The current correlator is a hybrid (as it takes in analog). The e-MERLIN correlator will be digital.
