Mervyn Edward Manningham-Buller

Mervyn Edward Manningham-Buller (16 January 1876 - 22 August 1956) was a Conservative member of the British Parliament.

His parents were Major-General Edmund Manningham-Buller and Lady Anne Coke[1]. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Rifle Brigade[2].

He married Lilah Constance Cavendish, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Cavendish, 3rd Baron Chesham and Lady Beatrice Constance Grosvenor, on 8 July 1903. Their children included Reginald Manningham-Buller, Attorney-General.

Between 1924 and 1929 he was Conservative MP for Kettering. Between 1931 and 1940 he was MP for Northampton.
