Mertensophryne nyikae is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Malawi and Zambia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches.
