Mercian (bicycles)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mercian are a small, high-end English bicycle manufacturer based in Derby, England and operating since 1946. They are named after the ancient kingdom of Mercia. Each Mercian frame is handbuilt in-house by their own shop on 7 Shardlow Rd, Alvaston. The frames are built by hand using the traditional brazing technique, and most of their bikes are individually made for customers. They use Campagnolo components and have a long-standing relationship with that manufacturer.
