the ranking "the 100 greatest" is very subjective and some calculators at present should be of course included in such a list, otherwise it is a non sense. Since there is no way to measure "the greatness" of a calculator(lack of documentation, differences between the witnesses and the calculations, and so on), no ranking makes sense there.

Added John Von Neumann to the list since the great amount of anecdotes that exist about his extremely fast mental calculation abilities (see main article on him). I think Gauss might be considered as well. 84.197.23.139 04:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
