Mendlesham railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mendlesham railway station was a station in Mendlesham, Suffolk. It was on the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway from Haughley to Laxfield. The station was opened in 1908 and closed in 1952 as part of the post-war cutbacks. Another station on the line, Brockford, has been reopened as a preserved station by the steam preservation group called "Mid-Suffolk Light Railway".
