[edit] Notability

I just started the article, give me some time to assert notability. MemeStreams was a website used by thousands of people (when the internet was a much smaller place, mind you) and was a technical predecessor to things like Digg and early contemporary of Slashdot. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 04:48, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

I removed the speedy tag I placed since the recently added refs seem to hint at notability. Keep working on improving this article. Good luck and happy editing! --Jayron32|talk|contribs 05:05, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
