Could you perhaps explain what "It is more specifically a chelating ligand because it is a ligand that is attached to the central metals (the phosphorus) by bonds from two or more donor atoms." means? Because it doesn't make sense to me.
I believe what you mean to say is that it is chelating because it coordinates to the metal center (NOT the phosphorus [atom]) by two (or more) donor atoms. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 20:45, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
